A Visit to JM Cellars Stunning Bramble Bump Tasting Room in Woodinville

Check out the welcoming entrance at Bramble Bump, home of JM Cellars. This family-owned winery sits on seven acres of private property that has been cultivated into a private arboretum. Guests of the Woodinville winery are welcomed to explore the lush trails while sipping on glasses of wine, which is exactly what we did!

Here are Carrie and Zoe walking along a trail that sits just below the tasting room. We could hear a running stream below, but since it was nearly 90 degrees on this Sunday afternoon, we did not walk all the way down the the water’s edge. Don’t you wish all hikes included wine?  Haha, I do!

I especially like the decor inside JM. It’s a winery that has a long tradition: from 1900 – 1935 it was part of a working dairy farm owned by Pacific Northwest lumber baron Frederick Stimson.

The wine club, called Enotica, is currently full, but you can add your name to the waitlist. Club members receive discounts on wine purchases, invitations to special events and 15% a facility fee discount for private events.

We stepped down this shaded staircase to a seating area that looked perfect for photo ops and/or a small wedding ceremony. There was even a croquet set for groups wanting to play while they sip.

These weathered Adironack chairs are begging to be lounged upon! I personally love sinking into chairs like this. Had there been less for us to explore, I probably would have just sat right here and ordered another glass.

As we wandered the grounds with wine in hand, we saw an abundance of unusual trees and flowers that caught our eyes. Pictured is the ivy covered entrance to the barrel room. You can see a glimpse of the pretty hanging star lights that are scattered along the ceiling.

What a creative way to decorate a wine barrel that sits on the outdoor patio!

We spent our time exploring and carrying our wine glasses with us, however JM offers many seating options for tasting room guests as well.

Carrie graciously agreed to pose for me at the gazebo. I think this could be the perfect place to hold a wedding ceremony or other group presentation for parties or work events!

We made our way in and out of the tasting room with each wine pour.  I have never been to a wine tasting that provided such ample space to move around. I loved it!

Explore JM Cellars during your next trip to Woodinville and experience their delicious 2016 Viognier! It was crisp and refreshing and pairs well with seafood.

JM Cellars winery is located at  14404 137th Pl NE, Woodinville, WA 98072.  Call them for private party information at (425) 485-6508.  Their wine tasting hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday  from 11 AM – 4 PM.
