An Enjoyable and Pleasant Wine Tasting at Castillo de Feliciana

We could not have been more excited to spend a sunny fall afternoon visiting Castillo de Feliciana’s charming Woodinville tasting room!

The autumn leaves were so beautiful on this sunny day! I love the natural canopy these leaves provided.

Cozy chairs line up inside the wine club room.  There are two club options, the Flamenco Club and the Salsa Club.

This 2016 Albariño was such a pleasant surprise! Blended from the Columbia Valley, Feliciana’s Albariño brings together notes of lemon peel and grapefruit and green apple.  I must also say that I am particularly fond of the logo featuring a Flamenco dancer.

Warm interiors and ample bottles for purchasing line the walls of the tasting room.

We loved this opportunity to donate to a great cause with the purchase of a wine glass!

We also tasted the 2014 Rosebud Tempranillo, picking up aromas of blackberry, and spices. This is a medium bodied wine with light acidity. Very easy drinking!

There are many enjoyable places to sit and sip when you visit the tasting room, like this outdoor deck!

Check out this view from our table on the sunny deck!  We are so spoiled in the Pacific Northwest, with landscapes like this.

The lovely Kara gave us so much history on her family’s winery! She and Dionne made our experience so friendly and personable – we had a blast chatting with them. Here is Carrie trying to decide which wine to take home.

The view overlooking the outdoor patio, where guests are welcomed to lounge under umbrellas and enjoy the lush surroundings.

We happily brought home several bottles after our tasting at Castillo de Feliciana.  You will love visiting them, and be sure to ask about upcoming special events or check them out online.
