Playing Prosecco Pong with Sparkling Wines from Woodinville

What do you do after Thanksgiving is over and you’ve napped, griped about how full you are, slowly and reluctantly cleaned up some dishes, watched “Home Alone” and “Trains Planes and Automobiles” already, and snacked a bit?

We’re thinking it would be quite fun to play a silly round or two of “Prosecco Pong,” courtesy of the whimsical Talking Tables paper products company! Of course, we only drink Woodinville wines around here, and this region is not really known for its prosecco harvesting capabilities.

Instead, we might pick up a bottle of Domaine Ste. Michelle’s celebrated Brut Rose. (They also make several other delicious sparkling wines, including Luxe, their classic Brut, and their Extra Dry bubbly).

There’s also a delicious Elentone Brut at Pomum Cellars right now, and you might be able to find a 2015 bottle of “Brillante” sparkling wine from Castillo de Feliciana.

As a side note, if you love bubbly wine, be sure to get tickets for Village Wines‘ “We Love Bubbles Jam.” The festive event takes place December 5, 2017.

Talking Tables also sells a festive set of prosecco bottle shaped LED string lights too if you are tempted to dress up your bar area a little over Thanksgiving weekend!
