Enjoying Washington Wine at Cave B Resort Winery Tasting Room

We so enjoyed our little mini vacation to Cave B Inn and Resort at the Columbia River Gorge.

Besides the gorgeous views, luxurious hotel and fabulous summer weather, you can enjoy wine tasting right on the property, at the Cave B Estate Winery tasting room right on the property.

If you’re not quite up for a full tasting experience, you can purchase a glass pour of their excellent Washington wine, or purchase a bottle to enjoy on the patio. It overlooks the spectacular river gorge, and the views are stunning.

Like most wine tasting rooms, Cave B generally closes at 5 pm, but you should check their current hours here if you’re planning a wine tasting trip.

The Cave B tasting room has two levels, the top being reserved exclusively for wine club members.

You’ll enjoy the beautiful landscaping at the hotel and winery. I can’t even describe how wonderful the air smells here!

On your way back from the tasting room to your hotel room, you can wander past the estate vineyards.

You can really leave your cares and troubles behind as you relax into the calm, peaceful surroundings at Cave B.

There are rose bushes to admire, plus lavender perfuming the air.

Check out this amazingly cool tasting room bar, made from old wine barrels!

We thoroughly enjoyed the air conditioned wine cave area in the tasting room, after a long hot car ride.

There is plenty of outside seating on the lawn if you prefer.

In the distance you can see the Stage B ampitheater that’s used for small summer music concerts.

We always recommend Cave B’s white wines to our friends who prefer white wine over red.

Jen was grateful to relax with a glass of Cave B’s Cavewoman White wine after a long car ride putting up with my crazy driving.

When it was pressed upon her, she of course couldn’t resist a glass of Rosé wine as well.

You can purchase a large variety of wines at the tasting room – they make white wines, rose wine, sparkling wine, and red wines.

A cute little shop area offers wine accessories, gourmet foods and snacks.

Like the Woodinville Cave B tasting room, the Quincy tasting room offers humorous wine lifestyle signs for sale. I consider “Weekends were made for wine” a truism.

I love, love, love this candelabra – but where are the candles?

The tasting room offers some snacks for purchase if you get hungry, or you can head over next door to Tendrils restaurant at the hotel.

Surely by now we have convinced you to put a trip to Quincy, Washington; Cave B Estate Winery and the Columbia River Gorge on your travel schedule for next summer!
