Fantastic Fridays in Summer on Woodinville Winery Patios

Have you ever knocked off work early on a Friday afternoon and headed over to Woodinville for a leisurely afternoon of wine tasting? You can sit on beautiful patios, feeling the warm sun on your skin, while tasting delicious wines in the open air.

This is the new outdoor patio at Cave B Estate Winery, which recently expanded into the former Genoa Cellars space.

I always have a wonderful time tasting wine outside on Brian Carter Cellars’ patio. You meet the most interesting people here, whether they’re tourists visiting Woodinville wine country or locals like me playing hooky.

I felt the need to take a break from my photography and enjoy a glass of Oriana.

Should the patio be full, like it is on busy summer weekends, there’s more seating available in the side yard.

Another lovely option for tasting wine outdoors in Woodinville is this spacious patio at J. Bookwalter Winery (near the Hollywood Schoolhouse).

Their outdoor seating areas are so comfy!

There are some interesting conversation pieces to look at while enjoying your wine.

Someone has carefully accumulated and displayed these quaint antiques.

The winery will appreciate if you call ahead to make a reservation if your party is six or more people.

If you get hungry during your wine tasting adventures, you can grab a meal or snack at Bistro at Hollywood Schoolhouse, which offers outdoor seating as well.

The Market Vineyards patio overlooks the patio at Pepper Bridge/Amavi.

It’s really remarkable I was able to get a photograph of this patio with only one person in it – the Bistro is extremely popular and can be crowded on weekends and evenings.

I love to stop to admire the antique windmill at The Hollywood Schoolhouse.

There are lovely little paths you can explore on your way to Alexandria Nicole Cellars.

Alexandria Nicole Cellars offers umbrellas for shade and a view of the tasting rooms across the street, for interesting people-watching.
