Virtual Wine in Quarantine

Here at Woodinville Wine Blog, we want to continue to make sure that you know how to join your favorite wineries virtually amid the coronavirus pandemic. Here is a quick update on a few upcoming events!

Join Airfield Estates on Friday April 17th at 7pm on Facebook Live to talk about new releases and bud break.

Chateau Ste Michelle is hosting a Instagram Live virtual tasting on Thursday April 16th at 4 pm.  Vineyard manager, Kari Smasne will be talking about bud break from the Canoe Ridge Estate Vineyard.

Tinte Cellars is launching its Bottles for Bravery program that recognizes first responders, nurses, doctors, police officers, grocery store employees and other heroes amid the coronavirus pandemic. Nominations will be accepted from April 15- May 15 and Tinte Cellars will be randomly selecting local heroes to send a bottle of wine to in appreciation.

The winery will also publicly thank the heroes on social media (using information from the nomination submission.) To nominate, email info@tintecellars.com with the subject line, “Thank you to my hero.” Include in the email a few sentences about why a specific hero should be recognized. Include their name, email, and cellphone number and if possible, a photo of your hero.

Fidelitas is going to be live on Instagram on Thursday, April 16th at 5 pm. Join Fidelitas winemaker Will Hoppes and guest winemaker Andrew Januik as they virtually feature their 2017 Red Mountain Cabernet and some Argentinian Malbec.

Join Lisa and Anne from  Warr-King Wines  on Thursday, April 16th at 5 pm on Instagram Live . They will be previewing their 2017 Malbec from Gamache Vineyard which is releasing May 2nd, 2020.

Sip Magazine is hosting a Facebook Live virtual tasting on April 16th at 5 pm with AJ Temple of Temple Distilling sharing about the art of Gin, how it is distilled, its flavor profiles and what cocktails you can create with it.

On April 28th at 6:30 pm, Join Nine Hats tasting room lead, Jonathan for a new release, virtual tasting followed by a Netflix Party.  You can vote for your movie pick from these choices : “Wine Country”  “Uncorked” “Sour grapes”. Click here for the Zoom signup!
