Our Top Picks for Live Video Happy Hours and Wine Tastings from Woodinville and Washington Wineries This Week

There are a ton of really interesting upcoming Washington wine related virtual happy hours, virtual wine tastings and winemaker interviews this week. Here are a few that Jen and I are going to for sure try to participate in and watch along with!

Wednesday, April 22

We’re going to watch winemaker Jason Gorski from DeLille Cellars talking about their 2019 Rose which debuts Friday. The event takes place on Instagram at 7 pm Wednesday on WashingtonWineBlog’s profile.

Thursday, April 23

Cairdeas Cares is hosted by Cairdeas Winery in Lake Chelan. Join them on Facebook at 4 pm as they taste their 2017 Cinsault.

We’re also really intrigued to check out Washington Wine Blog hosting Chris Figgins of Figgins Wine and Leonetti Cellar on Thursday, April 23 on Instagram Live at 5:30 pm. It’s Walla Walla Wine Month, by the way.

Friday, April 24

If you are around at noon Thursday (we will be working at the food pantry, so we’ll miss it) you can catch Tinte Cellars’s Thursday Tastings at Twelve on Facebook and watch people tasting William Church 2016 “Sur la Mer” (my favorite William Church wine!)

We’re looking forward to watching the Tinte Tunes Facebook Takeover, featuring a husband-wife band called Champagne Sunday. 6 pm to 7 pm.

For those of you who are trivia buffs, check out Beat the Geek Trivia: Stay at Home Version, hosted by Beaumont Cellars Winery. It takes place Friday April 24 at 10 pm and you can check the event details for the link to join. This sounds really fun, if I can stay up that late after day-drinking all day (and night-drinking all evening!)

We’ve made it a priority to showcase and highlight women winemakers, so we wanted to be sure you knew about the opportunity to join a virtual tasting with Kate, the winemaker from Double Canyon, at 5 pm. Use this link to register.

Saturday, April 25

Ramon from The Wine Tasting Shuttle in Woodinville hosts a Virtual Brunch with Friends, online via Google Hangouts. He invites friends from the local wine and food industry to join him on camera.

Talk Dirty to Me: A Virtual Taste Around Lake Chelan is hosted by Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards. 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

At 5 pm, you can watch Dusted Valley’s virtual Live Happy Hour on Facebook. Dusted Valley is a Walla Walla winery with a Woodinville tasting room. The theme of this Happy Hour will be Cabernet Sauvignon.

Sunday, April 26

Another Virtual Brunch with Friends from Ramon at the Woodinville Wine Tasting Shuttle.

Which events tempt you the most to attend? Let us know in the comments below and hope to see you online!
