We’ll Drink Wine Together Again

During this challenging time, we’ve been staying safely at home, quarantining other than a few grocery store runs, and volunteering at the Woodinville Wine Industry Food Pantry and at EastWest Food Rescue. We’ve been keeping up with our wine industry friends via Facebook, virtual tastings, Zoom meetings, and in the new Facebook Messenger Rooms, but we miss being able to go out and taste wine together in person here in Woodinville.

We’re reminiscing about some of our favorite spots to eat a meal, taste wine, and relax at a winery here in Woodinville. We’re trying to stay positive, hoping King County will be able to open up a bit more soon (safely), and praying that our wineries, restaurants and other small businesses can stay in business after such long closures.

Let’s stay hopeful and reminisce about all the fabulous places in Woodinville we’ll return to with our wine-loving friends when it’s officially declared safe to go out (perhaps wearing masks for the immediate future, of course).

Someday soon we can revisit Matthews Winery for wine tasting, Friday night music and dancing, and wine events.

We’ll head out to Castillo de Feliciana for sangria in the sunshine.

We’ll sit admiring the view of the Sammamish River Valley from Sky River Mead and Wilridge Winery.

We’ll meet friends for coffee, tea or wine on the patio at Rooster Bakery again.

We’ll sip wine on the patio at Obelisco at the Apple Farm Village again.

We’ll look forward to drinking wine outdoors on patio tables at Alexandria Nicole Cellars again.

We can’t wait to visit all our wine industry friends in Artisan Hill, at Pomum Cellars, Damsel Cellars, Lobo Hills, Lord Lion Winery, Three of Cups Winery, Sightglass Cellars, Finn Hill and so many other wineries!

We’ll soak up the sun and drink Chardonnay outdoors at J. Bookwalter Tasting Studio again.

Once again we’ll enjoy wine on the patio at Cave B Estate Winery in Woodinville.

We’ll be able to join friends for wine on the patio at Adrice Wines in the warehouse district.

We’ll be able to drink wine and listen to free music outside Ryan Patrick and Milbrandt Vineyards in the Hollywood District on summer evenings.

We’ll gather again at Gorman Winery and Patterson Cellars for pizza from Vivi Pizzeria and wine tasting on the shared outdoor patio.

Soon we’ll admire the flowers and sip wine outside Basel Cellars in the West Valley District of Woodinville.

Someday soon (hopefully) we’ll dine on Barking Frog’s outdoor patio.

We look forward to making ourselves at home outside Lachini Vineyards and drinking their delicious Oregon wine.

Jen will be able to lounge at her wine club at DeLille Cellars again.

We can’t wait to return to the Fireside Lounge at Willows Lodge, drinking wine and cocktails and eating their delicious food in front of the fire pit in their beautiful garden patio.

We’ll revisit the stunning JM Cellars winery, and walk their trails with our wine glasses in hand.

We’ll return to Novelty Hill Januik’s gorgeous outdoor wine tasting area.

We dream of returning to Chateau Ste. Michelle for outdoor concerts on the lawn and in the amphitheater. And to taste wine in the beautiful visitor center!

We’re looking forward to more Wine Wednesdays at Woodhouse Wine Estates, listening to live music.

The patio at Brian Carter Cellars will welcome us once again.

We will again gather at The Junction for live music outside of Gard Vintners, Beaumont Cellars, Five Star Cellars, Sol Stone Winery and Armstrong Family Winery.

We’ll get to enjoy more Wine Walks at Avennia, Skylite Cellars, Tsillan Cellars and Tertulia Cellars in the Gateway District of Woodinville.

We can’t wait to return to Maryhill Winery in the heart of the Hollywood District to taste wine and eat at their bistro.

(This post is getting long and we couldn’t mention every winery we love, sorry!)

Which Woodinville tasting room are you most looking forward to revisiting when things open up again? Let us know in the comments below. Hope to see you soon on a Woodinville winery patio!
