Tasting Washington Wine at the Club Patio at Alexandria Nicole Cellars Woodinville

Jen and I visited the wine club members-only patio at Alexandria Nicole Cellars last Friday. We were delighted to visit with our favorite ANC staff members, including April and Russell. It’s been too long since we stopped by, and we’re so glad we did.

The current wine tasting flight at Alexandria Nicole Cellars is a Chardonnay, a Viognier, their a2 Rosé, and two of their delicious red wines (I lost my notes, so I forget exactly which reds we tasted that day! Jen thinks one of them was the Block 17 Syrah.)

The current safety protocols mean you pour your own wine from the pre-poured flight, and taste it at your own pace.

The winery lets you bring in food from outside (such as this Bistro Box we were gifted by Urban Whey!) You could likely take food down from the Bistro at Maryhill upstairs, I’m betting.

Did you know that Alexandria Nicole Cellars celebrates “Frosé Friday” every day (Not just on Fridays!)? You can stop by for a frozen treat made with their signature Rosé, with a bonus float of Syrah on top! Perfect on these hot summer days. (Disclosure: We were comped our glasses of delicious Frosé!)

Nowadays, your best chance to get seated at the lovely outdoor picnic area and under the shade umbrellas at Alexandria Nicole Cellars’ Woodinville location is to make an advance reservation.

Of course, if you can’t make it out to one of their tasting rooms, you can shop online for the incredible Washington Wines made by this family winery!
