All the Fall Feels in Woodinville at Willows Lodge

Outside at Willows Lodge

We were so excited to have been able to stay at Willows Lodge to help promote their All the Fall Feels promotion package. While I had been to Barking Frog Restaurant and Fireside Lounge many times before, this was my first time ever staying in one of the suites at Willows. Carrie was so generous to allow James and I to take the overnight stay (thanks Carrie!)

While I relaxed in our hosted suite, I poured a delicious glass of this Matthews Winery Cabernet Franc that the winery generously gifted us for our lovely Fall stay.

From my comfortable armchair,, I had a stunning view of the changing leaves in the stunning garden, and the cozy stone fireplace in our suite (all rooms in the hotel are equipped with a fireplace). With the sunshine and the cool, crisp air, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy my afternoon!

Here is where I relaxed in the patio table and chairs which overlooked the grounds below. From here I could and the fire pit that sits outside of Fireside Lounge. James and I ventured here after a nightcap at Fireside and enjoyed another glass of wine by the fire.  When Carrie and I arrived first for our wine tasting adventures, we opened this bottle of Cabernet Franc while chatting and awaiting James’ arrival. Our evening was filled with fun plans hosted by Willows Lodge, The Woodinville Chamber and Woodinville Wine Country.

There are so many unique and beautiful aspect of this luxury hotel that will make you fall in love with staying at Willows Lodge! Before we went to Woodin Creek Village for the After Hours Wine Walk (more on that fun time, here!), we wandered around the hotel grounds to check out the gorgeous Fall colors in the gardens.

Willows Lodge is located next to the Sammamish River and is also bordered by the Burke-Gilman trial which is a haven for those who enjoy bike riding, walking, and running. At this rustic hotel, bikes and helmets are available for use, free electric charging stations are provided, 24-hour room service is available and a full-service spa is located on site.

The five acres of the property are impeccably landscaped, and home to two pet pigs named Borage and Basil. Here Carrie is pictured in the stone hut, which we wandered to after our jaunt through the gazebo and herb garden.

Here I am sipping a bit of Woodinville wine in the gazebo that overlooks beautiful gardens. I am wearing my Carhartt beanie and cozied up in the plush logo blanket that Willows Lodge included as a part of our Fall Feels promotion package.

Once we had enjoyed a bit of fresh air and changing of leaves, we headed to Woodin Creek Village, before or reserved dinner at Barking Frog restaurant. We enjoyed the last of the summer-inspired menu, just before the restaurant shifted over to their new Fall menu. MOre on that current offering, here.

In all, I can’t speak highly enough about our Fall Fells stay at Willows Lodge. The entire staff was warm and helpful, my room was sanitized and clean to the highest safety standards and the goodies included in our package made this an extra memorable Woodinville hotel stay. Everything about the hotel is cozy, from the main lobby (which feels more like a cozy great room) to the delicious food and cocktails in the Fireside Lounge and of course our incredible meals at the Barking Frog. (Pro blogger tip: don’t miss their brunch! More on that, here!)
