eggs benedict, barking frog

Barking Frog at Willows Lodge is the perfect place for cozy brunch. As a guest at Willows Lodge, you can’t make this breakfast spot any easier, you simply walk out of the hotel lobby and cross the hotel drive. If you are not a guest of the hotel, you will still find parking available here.

The mimosas are memorable, with classic orange juice, grapefruit, and pomegranate as options. The menu here is seasonal, so we enjoy checking back often to see what is new. Barking Frog is open for brunch daily from 8:00 am – 2:30 pm (first-come, first-served only).

egg scramble at The Commons

The Commons is another great brunch spot in Woodinville located in the heart of the Hollywood District. I love the bustling atmosphere here and think it’s a top spot to meet for breakfast during the week and brunch on the weekends (breakfast items served until 3 pm!). You can dine indoors or get cozy outside by the firepit year-round, as well as on the heated/covered patio.

We have ordered the veggie scramble many times, as well as the eggs benedict. Inside the restaurant, you will find their new Heavy Goods market, which is filled with take-home items, wine, home goods, and seasonal pre-order meals. If you have plans to go wine tasting after your brunch and want to order a cheese and charcuterie to take along, then the Heavy Goods market has you covered!

egg benedict Heritage restaurant

Heritage Restaurant | Bar is a restaurant that brings casual, modern American food along with a full bar (and fantastic happy hour) and is also located in the heart of the Hollywood Schoolhouse District. The menus here are highly seasonal – expect them to change it up often.

On weekends, Heritage is open for brunch at 11 am, a great option if you are a late bruncher or want to avoid the earlier breakfast crowds. You can view the menu here, and notice the online order pick-up by phone or online options.

If an easy take-home dinner is more your style, check out Heritage at Home for the dinner menu that is available for pick-up Wednesday through Sunday from 4:30 – 8 pm (closed Monday and Tuesday). It is a perfect option for those busy nights when you want a restaurant meal in the comfort of your own home.

Woodin Creek Kitchen and Tap Croque Madame

Woodin Creek Kitchen and Tap impressed us with a seasonal cocktail menu and brunch items such as beignets, a great selection of omelets, and a delicious Croque Madam. The menu also offers healthy options like a quinoa and kale scramble, avocado toast, and a fruit and yogurt parfait.  Breakfast is served from 9 am to 2 pm and the retail parking options at the Woodin Creek Kitchen are plentiful as are the TV screens! In case you want to come for dinner, they have 30 screens so that you can watch all of your favorite teams.

The Cottage Bothell is a place high on my list to try and Carrie loved her visit here! This brunch menu has so many of my favorite breakfast comfort dishes that I know I will need to visit more than once so I can try the shrimp and grits, the cottage biscuits and gravy, and of course the eggs benedict (my favorite). This menu represents for me the perfect comfort brunch and is offered from 10:30 to 3 pm daily. I can’t wait to visit here!

Rusty Pelican Cafe is also open in the Woodin Creek Village, located on the corner of Wine Alley. Here you will find breakfast served from 9 am to 3 pm. The menu offers a large selection of waffles, including chicken and waffles and Belgian waffles, crepes, and skillets. If you prefer traditional breakfast fare you will find eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, corned beef hash, and country fried steak.

All of these brunch menus offer many different choices for even the pickiest of eaters! Hope you enjoyed our tour of our favorite six Woodinville brunch restaurants!
