New Pét-Nat Wine from Savage Grace Wines!

Today I stopped into Savage Grace Wines to pick up my wine club shipment. (Twelve amazing bottles of soon-to-be-cult status Washington wine!)

Their lovely, chic and air conditioned tasting room is in the Warehouse District here in Woodinville – all the way down at the end between Simpatico Cellars and Prohibition Cellars.

There’s a tiny patio for sipping wine on days that aren’t 97 degrees, and inside they’ve recently done a re-decoration and fit a couple more tables in.

Today just happened to be the release of Savage Grace’s much-anticipated 2021 Pét-Nat (Pétillant-Naturel)

Here is winemaker Michael Savage showing off the new release. I got to taste it and I love it even more than the 2020 from last year!

This sparkling Côt (Malbec?) is from Dineen Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. It will sell out fast, so be sure to buy a bottle or two while you still can. They’re unlikely to offer tastings of it in the tasting room past this weekend, so go on out tomorrow (Sunday) if you can!
