The Gorgeous Barrel Loft Event Space at Woodinville Whiskey Co!

If you love Woodinville Whiskey Company as much as we do, then we hope you will enjoy learning a little bit more about their gorgeous event space that’s rentable for parties and gatherings. Just look at the barrel loft, which sits perched above the production room – Isn’t it stunning? All events are coordinated jointly with the events management team at The Hollywood Tavern, located right next door to Woodinville Whiskey Co.

This image of whiskey barrels in the production area is so cool. Above in the Barrel Loft, you can host up to 75 guests for a cocktail reception, or up to 40 guests for a sit-down event at farm-style tables. 100 guests can be accommodated reception style, in the indoor loft and the outdoor knoll (weather permitting,) using a combination of farm tables and high boy cocktail tables.

Fermenters lined in festive garlands line the beautiful Woodinville distillery this season.

The distillers work closely with David Pickerell, who was the master distiller at Maker’s Mark for 14 years. All grain is grown exclusively for Woodinville Whiskey Co. on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, Washington.

Looking up toward the beautiful barrel loft, I am picturing holding my own wedding reception here! The event space manager, Story Kempton-Fix, let me know that typically, the summer calendar fills up early in the year. If you are getting married in the Summer of 2018 you should contact her soon to inquire about your event date.

I think that the scent of bourbon that fills the air at Woodinville Whiskey Company is rich and absolutely wonderful. If the aroma is too strong for you, or you prefer to have more of an open-air setting at your event, the staff will open these bay doors! Large jet engine fans are also inside, to keep airflow moving.

The fermenters and the copper still sit beneath a large American flag. On the other side of the door are the whiskey tasting room and gift shop, where I often drool over bourbon maple syrup and bourbon whiskey when I visit for a tasting.  I can attest to the delicious scent of WWC’s Bourbon Whiskey candle – it smells heavenly.

Look at this beautiful pot still! This 1,320 gallon handmade still produces 7 barrels of whiskey per day.  No wonder it smells so good at Woodinville Whiskey Co.

Barrels and cases of beautifully crafted whiskey line the floor of the production facility. All of their barrels are seasoned for 18 months in the open air prior to being coopered.  After they are filled, they are shipped to Woodinville Whiskey’s aging warehouse in Eastern Washington.

This is the view from the Hollywood Tavern, which sits adjacent to Woodinville Whiskey Co. I love the aesthetic of this building, with the long windows and rustic look.  You can see the still clearly from this view.

Here is a (very wintery) picture of the area known as the “knoll”. The area in the background is the fire pit, which was being set up for a private event while we were visiting.  Fires are lit at 7:30 PM, and you and your event guests are welcomed to sit and warmly enjoy each other’s company in cozy Adirondack chairs.

Here is a shot of the farm tables, provided for family style dining. You can view images of set tables on the Woodinville Whiskey Company event page.

Another image of the fire pit area.  I love the warm bistro lighting throughout the outdoor AND indoor spaces.  Firewood is provided if you rent the Knoll or the entire upstairs.

Here is the view of the Hollywood Tavern and beyond, with its own cozy and inviting fire pit! Every time we have lunch at the tavern, I always stop for a photo – I love the space there!
