I was so delighted that my friend Rebecca could join me for more wine tasting on a recent Saturday. We were glad to be able to get a table for two at the much-buzzed-about new restaurant in Woodinville, Heritage Restaurant + Bar. We admired the beautiful space and were grateful the restaurant was quiet enough (though fairly busy with other guests) to hear each other talk. I hadn’t yet gotten in touch with the restaurant to get permission to take photos, so tried to quietly and unobtrusively take just a few without bothering other patrons. You’ll just have to come in for yourself to see the fresh and clean and airy decor and setup!
Since I was our designated driver I ordered an iced tea. You can bet I snooped around the wine menu though, for future reference!
I suspected that Heritage Restaurant + Bar would be accomodating to vegetarians, and they proved me right! I ordered a wedge salad minus the bacon. This is the best wedge salad I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried them at many restaurants!
The crispy shallots on top were a nice surprise, the lettuce was high quality, and the dressing addictive.
The restaurant was also happy to make me a turkey grilled cheese with avocado instead of turkey! It came with crunchy house made potato chips.
Rebecca ordered the Heritage Burger, which came with house cut fries. I confess, I snitched a couple of her pickles!
I wanted you to see the table that is set and could be waiting for you! (I apologize for the dark photograph though!) We loved that little vases of fresh herbs adorn every table.
If you’re looking for a nice lunch spot or dinner spot while exploring Woodinville or wine tasting, definitely check out Heritage Restaurant + Bar. We’ve needed something like this, as our little town surges in popularity. I’m so glad chef Breanna Beike opened this restaurant!
