My friend Claudette runs Eastside Social Club, a Meetup group I’m grateful to have joined a couple years ago. I invited her out to lunch and wine tasting in Woodinville so we could plan upcoming social events, catch up on gossip and share a nice meal. She hadn’t been to Heritage Restaurant + Bar yet, and I suspected she would really enjoy their food and ambience.
Claudette ordered the daily oysters appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’d never tried the roasted tomato and bell pepper sandwich before.

It was gray and chilly outside (well, that’s June in Seattle for you), so we ordered hot tea. We were delighted to find it came served in purposely mismatched quaint antique tea cups.
We had trouble deciding on a dessert, so ordered two! We shared the chocolate creme brulee first.
We loved the fresh berries on this cake, which also came with housemade brittle.
After a lovely lunch at Heritage Restaurant + Bar, we were well fortified for the afternoon of wine tasting that lay ahead!
