New Family Meals from PicNic Table Cafe in Artisan Hill in Woodinville

If you’ve been wine tasting all day in the Artisan Hill district in Woodinville, you’re likely to get hungry and need a snack or a meal. I usually end up at The PicNic Table Cafe (especially right now while my kitchen is being remodeled) when I am out wine tasting. The food is Mediterranean themed with lots of Italian influences (meaning plenty of options for myself and other vegetarians) and Chef Dani switches the menu up often, which I really like since I go eat there so often. Currently there’s outdoor seating in a couple of tents so you can eat with people not from your household.

You might enjoy a Prosecco cocktail after a day of exploring our local wineries. The PicNic Table currently offers a Garibaldi (I’d never heard of this one before!), a DiStefano (made with vermouth from the neighboring DiStefano Winery), a Mimosa, a Bellini, a Kir Royale or an Aperol Spritzer.

After a long hot day of wine tasting, I was ready for this Kir Royale Prosecco cocktail! Thanks Dani!

I also re-hydrated with a bottle of PicNic Table Cafe’s Italian sparkling water.

Recently, The PicNic Table Cafe created a Family Meal program, with busy families who are now supervising virtual online school for their kids specifically in mind.

I interviewed business owner and chef Dani about their new Family Meals. Check out what he had to say on YouTube below:

You visit the PicNic Table Cafe website early each week to check out the Family Meal menu and place your order online. Each Family Meal comes with a meat entree that serves 4 or more people; a vegetable side dish or two; freshly baked foccacia bread; and a dessert for 4.

And of course, you can order off the restaurant’s regular menu as well (sandwiches, Mediterranean plates, salads, etc).

You then pick up your Family Meal at your choice time during their open hours Weds through Sundays. Your boxed meal will be ready to be reheated quickly in your home and served to your family at your own table.

The Family Meal for this week (September 16) is a Tuscan Braised Beef Stew with a side of creamy polenta and roasted vegetables; foccacia and two desserts (Cannolis and Beignets!) Check back each week as Chef Dani switches up the menu weekly.

The PicNic Table Cafe is located at 18672 142nd Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072 in Artisan Hill.
