Shopping for Cozy Blankets from Woodinville Wineries

It’s autumn, and the rain is back. I still want to socialize with my friends and drink wine together, but our state has restricted in-person gatherings to outdoors only. I can’t have my friend Dawn come over and hang out inside my house with me any more. So, luckily I have an outdoor fire pit we can light a bonfire in and cozy up with blankets and my patio heater.

It occurred to me today that it might be fun to have a basket of clean, washable, fuzzy and warm blankets for my guests to wrap up in while they are sitting around my bonfire. I’d like to promote our local Woodinville wineries, so why not look around for some branded and logo’ed winery blankets to buy? That’s another way we can support local wineries besides just buying their wine constantly (I need to sober up at some point, after all!)

Gard Vintners at The Junction sells this plush black and white blanket with the Gard farmhouse logo on it.

Goose Ridge in the Hollywood District has lots of cozy logo merchandise, including this festive red and black plaid blanket being modeled by Emily. The blanket is currently sold out in Woodinville but more are on the way soon!

Tiffany writes, “We are doing lots to prep for people being outside. We have Cascadian Outfitters beanies and custom beanies on the way, blankets, flannels and even our own custom blend of mulling spices. We’ll be serving mulled wine starting this weekend. We sell the custom mulling spices too ;)”

Speaking of beanies, you can buy a Gorman Winery beanie to keep your head warm while tasting wine outdoors!

Also, Tinte Cellars offers a “Picnic Blanket Tote.” It’s a picnic blanket you could take to someone’s bonfire party to spread out for extra sitting room. The picnic blanket can double as a wrap if you need a little extra warmth on top of your coat. And this is extra cool – $5 from every Tinte Cellars Picnic Blanket Tote purchase goes to Mary’s Place.

There’s a Pendleton blanket with Maryhill Winery’s logo on it. You can’t buy it online, but you may be able to purchase one when you’re tasting outdoors or if their wine shop and gift area are open to retail customers.

The wine shop and gift shop at Chateau Ste. Michelle will be open at 25% capacity to retail customers. I’ve seen lovely CSM branded blankets there before. And you can buy their Sweatshirt Blanket in Salt & Pepper, Crimson or in Dusty Rose.

DeLille Cellars offers blankets, beanies, fleece jackets and vests with the DeLille logo on them.

Did I forget any local winery’s blanket merchandise? Drop us a note in the comments below this post.

Bundle up and let’s get out there, taste some local Woodinville wines and support our Washington wineries!
