On Monday, my friend Shona from Wine Diva Lifestyle had the day off, and we decided to take the opportunity to visit, catch up, gossip, and support a local Woodinville restaurant after the weekend’s depressing news about restaurants in our state being shut down for indoor dining.
We knew Vivi Pizzeria has a heated outdoor patio and a tent (plus delicious food) so we decided to meet there.
Shona wore her Gorman Winery mask and beanie and ordered “The Devil You Know” wine. Way to support Vivi Pizzeria’s neighbor and patio partner!
Since it was a Monday, there weren’t many people dining nearby. We felt safe and cozy (and like we could gossip shamelessly about wine industry topics without being overheard!)
I am pretty much totally addicted to the deep fried artichokes at Vivi Pizzeria! I order them every single time I go. Shona kindly let me have the last one!
We probably should have ordered one of Vivi Pizzeria’s delicious salads (my favorite is the Insalata Avocada) but decided this stressful week called for truffle fries.
I appreciate that Vivi Pizzeria stocks so many local Woodinville and Washington wines. Today I asked for a glass pour of Basel Cellars‘ excellent Merlot.
We split the wood-fired Vegetariana pizza, delighted to see it comes with so many garlic cloves and artichokes!
