Magnums of Rosé from Woodinville Washington Wineries for Summer 2021!

We’re starting to host backyard parties again now that it’s summer and socialization restrictions in our state have eased up! To make our parties extra fabulous, we like to open a magnum of Rosé each time.

What is a magnum, you say? Let’s consult Wine Folly, where we find out that a magnum is 1.5 liters, or the equivalent of two standard bottles (750 ml in each) of wine. Otherwise known as large format wines, magnums are double the fun! They really bring a festive air to your table. Of course, they cost twice as much as a regular bottle, fair enough.

Here in Woodinville, in years past we’ve seen Rosé magnums available at:

  • Amavi Cellars
  • aMaurice Cellars if I’m remembering right
  • Darby Winery
  • DeLille Cellars
  • Goose Ridge Winery
  • J. Bookwalter if we’re not mistaken
  • Lachini Vineyards
  • Long Shadows (“Julia’s Dazzle”)
  • Matthews Winery
  • Milbrandt Vineyards has a couple 2018 magnums left
  • Tertulia Cellars

Magnums are sometimes club-only, and often sell out quickly. If you see one while you’re out and about enjoying Woodinville tasting rooms, buy it up as quick as you can while you still the the chance.

Which local magnums of Rosé did I forget? Drop me a note in the comments below.

Enjoy your summer parties,

Carrie
