Celebrating May Day with Treveri Sparkling Wine from Washington

Happy May Day! I don’t have a May Day basket, sadly, but I do have some sparkling wine, a long sunny day ahead, and a beautiful backyard to hang out in! I’ll celebrate May Day by putting a (faux) wreath of yellow flowers on my front door, and we’ll light a bonfire late tonight after Date Night #StateNight. (#SipGlocal!)

Last week when I was supporting Washington wineries by shopping for their wine online, I couldn’t decide between Treveri Cellars‘s Gold Glitter Blanc de Blancs bottle or their Pink Glitter Blanc de Blancs bottle, so I bought both! (I restrained myself a wee bit and did not also spring for their Silver Glitter Blanc de Blancs bottle!)

Now obviously I can’t drink them both all in one day, and I need to share a bottle with Jen, so I will probably flip a coin to see which glittery bottle I open for myself today. Heads for pink, tails for gold!

Today I’ll be lounging around on my chaise, day drinking by sipping sparkling wine, staying hydrated with lots of water, all the while hoping my boyfriend doesn’t notice I’m shirking my share of the yard work!

Treveri’s Blanc de Blancs wines are made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Yakima Valley. I feel compelled to mention to you that they also make a Sparkling Rosé!.

You’ll find the Treveri Cellars wine shop here and you can learn about their Bubble Club here.

How are you celebrating the first day of May today? Let us know in the comments below!
